Sky High Leader Night

On Friday night 21 of my FCA student leaders from Edison, Huntington Beach, Mission Viejo, and Crean Lutheran high schools got together to hang out! We went top a house and ate pizza and got to know each other and then we headed out to Sky High to have some fun! It was a great night of bonding between leaders at all the schools and it was simply fun! Here are some pictures from the night!

HBHS FCA

Today was the first huddle of 2011 for Huntington Beach HS and about 40 students showed up to listen to their peer Madison Hybl share from her heart. Madison did a great job sharing about the pressures of our society to try and be someone we are not and how God created us perfect and loves us the way we were created. To emphasize her point showed showed the music video to "By Your Side" a SONG BY Tenth Avenue North. Thanks to the parents you continue to support the Huddle the donations for pizza money and prayer!

~ HBHS FCA ~

HBHS FCA had our first meeting since Thanksgiving and the leaders surprised everyone with some homemade dessert treats! After getting everyone up and going with the "Human Knot" game the students were blessed to have FCA Regional Director of Ministries Barry Martinez come share with them! Barry told them stories about his HS freshman football, and the disappointments he faced and how it relates to life and living for Christ! It is safe to say we all really enjoyed welcoming Barry to HBHS!

A big Thank You goes out to all the leaders for preparing Dessert for us and for the parents who continue to donate money for pizza! You are all awesome!

Our next meeting is Dec. 15 Wear your favorite Ugly Christmas Sweater!!!

HBHS FCA- 10/26

The huddle yesterday at HBHS was awesome! Over 70 kids showed up to hang out, eat pizza, play games and hear one of our leaders share her testimony. Gotta give a shout out to Madison Hybl, who stepped up and shared her story with all the students yesterday! Way to Go Madison! Also we need to thank Michele Amaral who was generous enough to donate the pizza for the 70 kids who showed up.

God is doing some great work over at Huntington High and we are all excited to be a part of it!
